Our work began after a creative spark in a small attic in Columbia, Missouri during the fall of 2012. While Tiny Attic Productions, LLC is still based in our hometown, our multimedia collective has spread far and wide.
Our team of professionals handles everything from conception to execution on marketing, branding, filming, editing and scoring. Our collaborators constantly inspire new growth and ideas. The Tiny Attic team's true passion lies in documenting and depicting real lives, real moments and real people in the media best fit for the subject.
The opportunity to tell those stories has enriched our lives in ways we never could have imagined. It is a privilege to create this work and share it with you. Although our crew is tiny, our dreams are big, and our thanks are endless.
Chelsea (Myers) Wright
Founder . Filmmaker . Animator
Chelsea is a visual storyteller and founder of Tiny Attic's artist collective. She believes every project deserves a unique vision and team of passionate creatives. She fills the roles of director, producer, editor, illustrator, cinematographer and animator. Her lifelong pursuit of meaningful work led her into documentary filmmaking about subjects in environmental sustainability and social justice.
Chelsea Turner
Visual Artist . Animator
Chelsea is an artist based in Los Angeles. Her expertise includes painting, drawing, graphic design and animation. She is a member of the Art Directors Guild and has worked as an Art Director for E! (NBCUniversal) for the past 2 years. She has worked as a Production Designer for Ad Campaigns and brands such as Perrier, Lip Sync Battle, Barilla Pasta, and The Skimm.
Joshua Wright
Producer . Marketer . Musician
Josh is a marketing consultant, project manager, and producer. Since 2016, he has contributed to communication strategy, client services, audio recording, and voice-over work on promotional and artistic projects. He also writes and composes commercial and creative musical arrangements. He is a recording artist and performer in the bands, The Ridgerunners and The Royal Furs.
Tim Pilcher
Musician . Sound Recordist/Designer
Tim is a co-founding member of Tiny Attic and has helped expand the collective's artistic vision from the beginning. He is a skilled sound recordist, composer and sound designer for film. His enthusiasm for all things auditory has led him to work beyond video in other creative realms including radio, podcast, theatre, and dance. He's written and performed music in multiple ensembles.
Aaron Phillips
Filmmaker . Photographer
Aaron is a former Civil Engineer turned photographer and filmmaker. His love of light, shadow and the technical aspects of filmmaking fuels his passion for the decisive moment. Aaron splits his time between Missouri and Mississippi, as DP, editor, and producer for documentaries, music videos, commercials, narrative short films, and community based story gathering projects.
Jacob Somerscales
Musician . Sound Designer
Jacob is a drummer, DJ and producer. As a synesthete, the visual and aural worlds blend harmoniously in his work. He creates dynamic compositions, always bearing the reverence and wisdom of a jazz drummer and the flair and presence of a crate-digging DJ. He has been working professionally in this field for 10 years, and his music continues to bless him with new horizons.
